Planning: Organising of group
As a group now that we have finally completed the planning
phase of the coursework I believe that it is a huge relief and weight off of
our shoulders, as this means that most of the work has been completed, because
of this it means that we are ready and we know what to do to make our film.
There is a huge amount of work ethic that goes into the making of a film and I
would never have imagined that it would be so much, as when you see all of the
Hollywood productions you would not think that it would be as difficult as it
really is, you tend to not think about everything which happened behind the
scenes. As a group we have come up with a few different strategies to help us
keep organised in our project. We have come up with a calendar. The calendar
lists days we have agreed to be free on so we are able to go out and film to
finish our coursework. We have come up with a basic plot so we know what the
situation is in order to help us to base a film around it. Finally, we have used
a programme called celtx and with this we created a master catalogue. This is
an overview of everything which will be needed to keep organised such as the
contact details of the members of the group, the costumes which will be needed
for the characters, the set of where we will be filming each scene so we know
where to meet up and begin filming and other aspects of Mise-En-Scene.
