Day 1 Third Scene filming
Today we began filming the final scene for our Media
coursework. We were trying to film a dark scene. To make the scene seem darker
we manipulated the lighting in hope to create a more dangerous atmosphere.
However we soon realised that our original idea was going to be a lot harder to
try and film than we originally had planned. This is because, the lighting kept
on getting in the way. We kept getting shadows of the cameras reflection and
shadows of myself and Jessica who weren’t supposed to be in the scene at that
time. It soon became very frustrating and it took a long time to try and
perfect. Therefore we had to try our best to make the acting quicker so we
could fit as much as we could in before we had to vacate the areas or before
the camera lost its charge. When we eventually got round to editing the scene
we found out that we went over the designated time. Therefore we had to try and
shorten the clips. However this was not really possible because, it would have
ruined the continuity. So we decided to go back tomorrow and sharpen up the
scene to a good standard.
