Editing Audio
While editing the re-filmed clips, we noticed that the audio from the previous flashback was stronger than the newer one, so we unlinked the video and audio clips to edit them to match each other. This was difficult as the clips were different lengths so we had to match the point where Chloe we fell with the sound of her falling. We used the same technique where Chloe stands up and it transitions into a POV shot, we had to match the action of her standing up with the movement of Conor's mouth. There was also some issues with the music and our voice, at times the music was high than our voices so we had to increase the volume of our voice and reduce the music. However, if we decrease the volume of the whole music clip we would loose the effect that we had in the fist scene, so we had to cut the music clip; use is as another audio before reducing it's volume and increasing our audio. Although this worked there was a very noticeable change so we added an audio transition to fade the end of the previous music clip so it doesn't make volume change as noticeable, yet it still was. Lastly, we tried overlapping the clip, which was successful and the clips ran smoothly consequently, we did the same for the end of the clip.
I feel the audio editing also helped in bringing the film together.
